Botryoidal chalcedony from Sulawesi Island - Indonesia - 56g | PCGRAP-19

If you are looking for a rare and unusual mineral to add to your collection and join your other wonders, here is our selection of botryoidal or grape chalcedony, mistakenly called grape agate (no, it is not an agate at all!).

Originating from the island of Sulawesi, in Indonesia, botryoidal chalcedony is formed from quartz crystallites that strangely resemble a bunch of grapes. Mainly purple with some light to very dark shades for the rarest ones, white, gray or green botryoidal chalcedony is also found.

A raw stone of quality with an original shape, this grape chalcedony has traveled more than 11,000 km to join one of your mineral collections. Discover our beautiful botryoidal chalcedony, mainly green and bluish purple. It is made of many rounded crystals up to 6mm for the largest. Its central part lets light through with backlighting to reveal a pretty clear and luminous purple. A translucent base will be offered with the chalcedony so that you can keep it upright if you wish, or lay it horizontally.
