Originating from the island of Sulawesi, in Indonesia, botryoidal chalcedony is made up of quartz crystallites that strangely resemble a bunch of grapes. Primarily purple with some light to very dark shades for the rarest, white, gray or green botryoidal chalcedony is also found.
