Originating from the island of Sulawesi, in Indonesia, botryoidal chalcedony is formed of quartz crystallites that strangely resemble a bunch of grapes. Primarily purple in color with some light to very dark shades for the rarest ones, white, gray, or green botryoidal chalcedony can also be found.
